5 SIGNS IT’S TIME TO SELL YOUR HOUSE

Game Review: Skytar Lacked Storytelling

The post-pandemic market comes with a lot of questions: Is it the right time to sell? Deciding to sell your home is a huge decision, and there are a few tips I can offer that might help you answer the question: Do we sell or do we stay?

  1. Examine the Market

With the competitive current market, it’s helpful to begin with having a conversation with a local real estate agent who has the appropriate skill set to offer an estimation of the property’s value. It’s best to sell in what’s called a seller’s market, where homes are usually bought at or above the selling price.

If you are wanting to invest in a home worth more than your current home, it may be better to wait to sell in a buyer’s market. You can contact me here to learn which is the best option for you in our current market.

2. You need more Space…or Less!

If your family is growing, you might find that 1 bedroom or two bedrooms simply isn’t enough to meet your needs. What you need as a single or as a couple might become different once you have kids or acquire more pets!

You might also be in a spot where you need less space. Perhaps your kids have moved out and have left empty spaces that were once filled. By downsizing, you not only will be able to acquire a smaller space, but you also might be able to pocket some profit...which would be great for looking into Real Estate investment.

3. You Need a Change of Scenery

When you spend a lot of time in one home, a lot of things change. Commutes might become longer as growth happens around you. You might need to be closer to your child’s middle or high school. Maybe your home holds some memories that are best left in the past. Whatever the reason, if you’re needing something new, selling might be a great option.

4. You’re Ready

The cost of buying a home is always something to think about. Knowing you are financially and emotionally ready to begin the process is an important conversation to have with yourself and your family. To prepare financially, you will want to make sure you are aware of the current market value of your home, as well as preparing for the new home with savings and a gameplan.

5. You have a support system

Friends and family are an important part of the selling process, as they can offer moral and emotional support.

More importantly, I’m here to help guide you through the process to make sure you get the right price for your house’s value. Email me here to get started!
